However, both parties remain unpopular: only <strong data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"677\">28% view Democrats positively<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"717\">37% view Republicans positively<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"737\"><strong data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"735\">Key issues:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"1280\">\n<li data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"842\">\n<p data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"842\">Protecting democracy and constitutional rights now rank alongside the economy as top voter concerns.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"920\">\n<p data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"920\"><strong data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"894\">52% say Trump has undermined the Constitution<\/strong> more than protected it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"1067\">\n<p data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"1067\">On the economy, <strong data-start=\"939\" data-end=\"959\">about two-thirds<\/strong> say Trump has not met expectations on the cost of living, middle-class support, and economic performance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1280\">\n<p data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1280\">Republicans hold strong leads on <strong data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1164\">border security (+31), crime (+22), and immigration (+18)<\/strong>, while Democrats lead on <strong data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1220\">protecting democracy (+11)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1222\" data-end=\"1252\">constitutional rights (+8)<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1279\">health care (+23)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1282\" data-end=\"1439\"><strong data-start=\"1282\" data-end=\"1302\">Voter enthusiasm<\/strong> is high: <strong data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1319\">66%<\/strong> say they are highly interested in the 2026 midterms, with Democrats showing a 7-point enthusiasm edge over Republicans.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1641\"><strong data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1459\">On immigration<\/strong>, 51% say Trump has met expectations, though 54% believe his deployment of federal agents to cities is unjustified.
