A 23-year-old man from Liverpool, <\/span>Kyle Kennedy<\/strong>, was diagnosed with <\/span>stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma<\/strong> after doctors initially dismissed his symptoms as swollen glands.<\/span><\/h6>\n

Kyle first sought help for neck swelling and night sweats but was told to take painkillers. When his face later became severely swollen, doctors suspected mumps or blocked glands and prescribed antibiotics. His condition worsened, and after further tests, an emergency CT scan<\/strong> revealed a large chest tumor that had spread to his bowel and tonsils.<\/p>\n

Described by his sister, Kelsey Thomas<\/strong>, as \u201cfit and healthy,\u201d Kyle had been active and played padel regularly until his diagnosis. His family described the experience as \u201cdevastating.\u201d<\/p>\n
