In September 1984, Jon Scarlett-Phillips was found in a leisure-center toilet near Milton Keynes, UK \u2014 wrapped in a blanket, in a shopping bag, with his placenta still attached. His teenage rescuers heard his cries and called an ambulance, saving his life.<\/p>\n
Now 40 and a chef, Jon appeared on Long Lost Family: Born Without a Trace<\/em> to search for his birth mother. Raised by a loving adoptive family, he said he always wondered: \u201cWhy did she do it?\u201d<\/p>\n Through the show, Jon learned his mother had been 20, struggling mentally, and already caring for two daughters when she gave birth to him.
