Meghan Markle\u2019s marriage to Prince Harry wasn\u2019t her first\u2014she was previously married to film producer Trevor Engelson. When Meghan began dating Harry, Trevor reportedly made a blunt prediction about their relationship.<\/p>\n

Meghan and Trevor met early in her acting career and married in 2011 during a three-day ceremony in Jamaica. But problems emerged quickly. According to biographer Andrew Morton, Trevor rarely visited Meghan on the Deal or No Deal<\/em> set and often prioritized work, even skipping trips with her.<\/p>\n

After Meghan landed a role on Suits<\/em>, their long-distance marriage became strained. She remained on the show until 2018, but the couple divorced in 2013, citing \u201cirreconcilable differences.\u201d Morton claims Trevor was shocked and that Meghan even mailed her engagement and wedding rings back to him.<\/p>\n

Both later remarried\u2014Meghan to Prince Harry and Trevor to Tracey Kurland. Still, Trevor occasionally commented on Meghan after her relationship with Harry became public. According to his former girlfriend Bethenny Frankel, when she asked Trevor in 2016 whether Meghan\u2019s romance with Harry would last, he made a \u201cbrutal\u201d prediction, replying simply: \u201cOh, she\u2019ll close.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
