An Oregon family\u2019s life changed in a single day. Four-year-old Jamon was diagnosed with cancer\u2014and his mother, Britney McRae, received the same diagnosis just hours later. Millions are now praying for their recovery.<\/p>\n

The McRaes were living a normal, busy life with their three young children when Jamon suddenly began having severe headaches. Tests revealed a tumor near his brainstem, leading to a 15-hour surgery at Stanford. A pathology report later confirmed it was an aggressive malignant brain tumor, requiring another major surgery plus radiation and chemotherapy.<\/p>\n

Tragically, the same day Jamon received his diagnosis, Britney learned she also had cancer. She has already begun chemotherapy. Britney\u2019s siblings created a GoFundMe page to support the family, describing their home as \u201cfull of love, laughter, and joyful chaos,\u201d now facing the unthinkable.<\/p>\n

As of November 20, the fund has raised over $70,000. A recent update shared that Jamon has come out of his second major surgery and is experiencing complications the doctors are monitoring. Britney\u2019s first chemotherapy session was difficult, complicated by failed IV attempts as she worried about her son in surgery.<\/p>\n
