<\/div>\n<\/figure>\nUnfortunately, Cynthia landed right on top of the alligator, and that reptile ended up biting her and dragging her from the area near the canoe. While both Cynthia and her partner entered the water together, only one of them came out alive.<\/p>\n
Her husband did try to step in and rescue, but it was to no avail. As shared by Fox 13, the Sheriff\u2019s Office had to get involved, and they made use of a helicopter to locate her remains. As per members of the commission, they don\u2019t believe the alligator attack was predatory in nature.<\/p>\n
