Despite her family warning staff about her condition, she was discharged only hours after the operation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"496\" data-end=\"747\">That night, Amber began violently vomiting and was readmitted after more than 20 episodes. Due to a failed IV line, she went 14 hours without fluids, pain relief, or antibiotics. On April 9, she suffered a catastrophic hemorrhage and died at 4:37 a.m.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"843\">A post-mortem found a rare surgical-site infection eroded an artery, causing massive bleeding.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"1042\">Amber\u2019s parents urged other families to <strong data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"923\">trust their instincts and speak up<\/strong> if something doesn\u2019t feel right, saying they will always believe she should have been allowed to stay in the hospital.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1256\">A November 2025 inquest concluded Amber\u2019s death was a \u201cvery rare complication,\u201d though questions remain about whether her condition was fully understood by staff.
