Tragic reports have confirmed more details about a man being called in for an emergency after discovering the remains of a late NBA star, Elden Campbell, whose body washed up on the shore of a Florida beach last week.<\/p>\n

Campbell died last month during what his loved ones claimed was a fishing tragedy in Florida\u2019s Pompano Beach. He was 57 years old.<\/p>\n

A 911 audio call that was recently from TMZ heard a caller mention how he found something that appeared like a human body that had just washed up on the shore.<\/p>\n

\u2018It appeared like a dead person on the floor\u2019- the caller can be heard telling the 911 operator in that same audio clip.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Campbell\u2019s remains were soon found by the cops next to a jet ski along the beach at about 8 pm local time, as shared by local media outlets. The retired NBA superstar was declared dead minutes after by first responders arriving at the scene. Meanwhile, a 911 dispatch call obtained by PEOPLE spoke about how first responders were sent to the beach at that moment for what was a case of cardiac arrest.
