Fourteen-year-old Davi Nunes Moreira from Brazil died after taking part in a dangerous internet challenge.<\/p>\n

Seeking online attention, he crushed a dead butterfly, mixed it with water, and injected the liquid into his leg. What seemed like a reckless stunt quickly became fatal.<\/p>\n

Davi began limping and vomiting and initially told his father he was injured while playing. When his condition worsened and a syringe was found under his pillow, he confessed at the hospital what he had done.<\/p>\n

Despite intensive medical care, his health rapidly declined. Doctors suspect an embolism, severe infection, allergic reaction, or possible toxins from the butterfly. After a painful seven-day struggle, Davi died in February at a hospital in Planalto, Brazil.<\/p>\n

Authorities are investigating the exact cause of death, highlighting the growing danger of viral challenges that push teens to risk their lives for online fame.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
