In the documentary A Road Trip to Remember<\/em>, Hemsworth takes his father, Craig, on a journey to explore his progressing Alzheimer\u2019s and raise awareness. Speaking on Jay Shetty\u2019s On Purpose<\/em> podcast, the actor shared how early warning signs \u2014 memory loss, mood changes, and forgetfulness \u2014 led the family to seek medical help.<\/p>\n Hemsworth previously revealed he carries two copies of the APOE gene, increasing his risk of developing Alzheimer\u2019s. Tests later showed both of his parents share the same genetic marker, meaning he and his brothers may also be at higher risk.<\/p>\n The documentary follows a motorcycle trip across Australia, where father and son explore experimental therapies, including reminiscence therapy.
