HGTV star Ty Pennington<\/span><\/span> recently shared an emotional message on Instagram, describing the past decade as a \u201ccycle of heartbreak and hopelessness.\u201d In a post with a photo from his wedding to his wife Kellee Merrell<\/span><\/span>, he reminded followers that anyone feeling stuck in difficult times is not alone and encouraged people to hold their loved ones close.<\/p>\n

Pennington and Merrell first met in 2010 in Toronto and reconnected in 2020. They began dating, quarantined together during the pandemic, got engaged in 2021, and married later that year in Georgia.
