Teens had been toilet-papering his property when Hughes went outside around 11:40 p.m. Thursday. While approaching their vehicles, he tripped and was run over by 18-year-old <strong data-start=\"307\" data-end=\"325\">Jayden Wallace<\/strong>\u2019s pickup.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"604\">Hughes was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he died Friday. Wallace faces charges including first-degree vehicular homicide, reckless driving, criminal trespass, and littering. Four other teens were charged with misdemeanor trespass and littering.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"866\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Hughes, also a golf coach, is remembered for his dedication to students and family. He is survived by his wife, Laura, a fellow math teacher, and their two children.
