Ruby lived with her husband Dean and their daughter Cindy, while her mother struggled deeply after losing her husband, becoming quiet and withdrawn. She often took Cindy out, but recently Cindy returned upset.<\/p>\n

When asked why, Cindy said, \u201cIt\u2019s Grandma\u2019s friend\u2026 William. He\u2019s always there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shaken, Ruby visited her mother, who tearfully explained she still talked about her late husband to cope with loneliness, not realizing it was confusing Cindy.<\/p>\n
