French actress Nadia Fares<\/span><\/span> has died at 57 after being found unconscious in a swimming pool at a gym in Paris. She later passed away in hospital, and authorities have opened an investigation, with no foul play suspected so far.<\/p>\n

Born in Morocco, she rose to fame with The Crimson Rivers<\/em> (2000) and went on to appear in films like War<\/em> and Storm Warning<\/em>, as well as the Netflix series Marseille<\/em> alongside G\u00e9rard Depardieu<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Fares had also planned to make her directorial debut in 2026, a project that will no longer happen.<\/p>\n

Her daughters confirmed her death, calling her \u201ca great artist\u201d and above all \u201ca mother.\u201d They also shared emotional tributes, describing her as their role model and best friend.<\/p>\n
