We met outside the movie theater at sunset and everything felt easy at first. He was charming, got tickets, and we split up to grab snacks.<\/p>\n

At the concession stand, I was given popcorn instead of gummy bears. When I corrected it, the worker leaned in and quietly warned me: \u201cCareful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inside, he stayed charming, and I almost ignored it\u2014until I found a hidden note in the popcorn: \u201cIf you\u2019re here with him, come find me after. You deserve to know the truth.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

After the movie, the worker told me she had seen him do this before with different women\u2014charming them, then disappearing and leaving them confused.<\/p>\n

When I saw him waiting outside with the same smile, I didn\u2019t confront him. I simply told him I\u2019d get home on my own and walked away.<\/p>\n
