Amanda Peet<\/span><\/span> revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer during a routine checkup, discovering a small tumor after a biopsy.<\/p>\n

At the same time, her father was dying in hospice care and passed away that same weekend, while her mother was suffering from Parkinson\u2019s disease<\/span><\/span>. She later also discovered a second tumor, which turned out to be benign.<\/p>\n

Peet underwent a lumpectomy and radiation, avoiding chemotherapy. She did not tell her parents about the diagnosis but shared it with her three children, who reacted with fear but relief when they learned it was Stage I.<\/p>\n

Despite immense personal loss and stress, she was able to be with both parents in their final moments and later received an all-clear cancer scan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
