A two-year-old boy from Georgia, Beckham Reed, is in critical condition after being stung more than 150 times by yellow jackets.<\/p>\n

Beckham was riding an electric toy car when he accidentally disturbed a nest and was swarmed. He was first treated and sent home, but within 24 hours his condition worsened and he was rushed back to the hospital.<\/p>\n

Doctors found he was suffering multi-organ failure affecting his kidney, liver, and heart due to venom toxicity. Beckham, who was born with only one functioning kidney, was moved to the ICU, placed on a ventilator, dialysis, and IV treatment.<\/p>\n

His family says there is no antivenom for yellow jacket stings, so doctors can only support his body while it clears the toxins.<\/p>\n

Despite the severity, there are hopeful signs, with his liver and kidney function reportedly starting to improve.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
