Terri Irwin and her son Robert Irwin shared an update on Bindi Irwin\u2019s endometriosis during the Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas on May 2, also explaining her absence from the event.<\/p>\n

Endometriosis affects about 190 million women worldwide and can cause severe pain, heavy bleeding, infertility, and other long-term health issues. There is no cure, only symptom management.<\/p>\n

Terri, 61, said Bindi is \u201cdoing so much better\u201d but still finds travel difficult, adding she stayed home this year managing their conservation work. Robert, 22, added she was \u201cwith us in spirit\u201d and helping oversee operations at Australia Zoo.<\/p>\n

He explained that with 500 staff and large conservation land to manage, someone needs to stay behind, and Bindi is doing an important role.<\/p>\n

The update follows Bindi\u2019s earlier revelation that she had over 50 endometriosis lesions removed over three years, along with other related surgeries. She described years of misdiagnosis and severe pain before finally receiving proper treatment, which greatly improved her life after the birth of her daughter Grace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
