When baby Vienna Brookshaw was born in the U.K. in April 2021, her parents Celine Casey and her partner were overjoyed\u2014until they noticed a dark birthmark between her eyebrows.<\/p>\n

Doctors confirmed it was a rare but harmless condition called congenital melanocytic nevus (CMN), affecting about 1 in 20,000 babies. Still, her parents worried she might face stares, questions, and judgment as she grew up.<\/p>\n

Determined, they launched a crowdfunding campaign and quickly raised over $50,000, though rising costs meant more was needed. They continued fundraising through GoFundMe until they could afford private surgery.<\/p>\n

After multiple procedures, Vienna\u2019s birthmark was successfully removed, leaving only a small scar. Today, she is a healthy three-year-old, and her parents regularly share updates on her recovery and happiness.<\/p>\n

They even returned to London for follow-ups to ensure everything healed properly.<\/p>\n
