Jeff Probst\u2019s brother, Scott Probst, has died, their brother Brent announced on Instagram on May 11. Jeff Probst, best known as the longtime host of <\/span>Survivor<\/em>, has led the CBS show since its debut in 2000.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Brent described Scott as \u201ca great brother, son and friend\u201d and said he would be deeply missed.<\/p>\n

Scott had also worked on Survivor<\/em> alongside Jeff as an art and camera assistant on several episodes.<\/p>\n

His passing comes less than two years after their mother, Barb Probst, died in November 2024 after battling dementia. Survivor<\/em> previously honored her with an on-air tribute.<\/p>\n

Brent had earlier described her as \u201cthe best mom\u201d and \u201cfull of love and life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Survivor<\/em>, which premiered in 2000, is a CBS reality competition where contestants are stranded in remote locations, forming alliances and competing for a $1 million prize.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
