M*A*S*H<\/span><\/span> became one of television\u2019s most beloved shows, known for blending comedy, drama, and emotional storytelling during its run from 1972 to 1983. Set during the Korean War, the series followed doctors and nurses working in a mobile army surgical hospital.<\/p>\n

Behind the scenes, the show also featured memorable bloopers, continuity mistakes, and surprising stories. William Christopher<\/span><\/span> nearly left the show after battling hepatitis, but Alan Alda<\/span><\/span> wrote the episode \u201cHepatitis\u201d to keep Father Mulcahy in the storyline.<\/p>\n

The evolving relationship between Hawkeye and Loretta Swit<\/span><\/span>\u2019s Margaret Houlihan also became one of the show\u2019s emotional highlights, especially in the episode Comrades in Arms<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n
