Strayed shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, saying she and their children, Carver and Bobbi, were by his side as he passed away. She described him as a man who lived with \u201cgentleness and courage, grace and gratitude.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just weeks earlier, Strayed revealed Lindstrom had been diagnosed with a fatal illness, leading her to cancel public appearances and focus on her family. Despite the tragedy, previously recorded episodes of her podcast would still be released.<\/p>\n

The couple, together since 1995, shared a deeply supportive relationship, encouraging each other\u2019s creative careers. Strayed often credited Lindstrom for believing in her and supporting her through her journey as a writer.<\/p>\n
