Reazjhana Williams from Denver expected a natural birth in 2021, but doctors rushed her into an emergency C-section after they couldn\u2019t detect her baby\u2019s heartbeat. When her daughter Kyanni was born, the newborn had a deep cut across her face, shocking both parents.<\/p>\n

Kyanni was immediately taken to a plastic surgeon and required 13 stitches. Doctors reportedly explained that the baby\u2019s head was positioned close to the placenta wall during the emergency procedure, causing the injury.<\/p>\n

Reazjhana said she struggled to understand how the accident happened, while the family described the situation as heartbreaking. Denver Health later stated that facial lacerations are a known complication in emergency C-sections and that patient safety remains their top priority.<\/p>\n
