Aimee Lou Wood<\/span><\/span> grew up struggling with severe shyness, bullying, eating disorders, and low self-esteem, partly due to comments about her teeth and a difficult home life. Later diagnosed with ADHD and autistic traits, she explained that her neurodivergence helped her understand many of her childhood struggles.<\/p>\n

Despite years of bullying, especially about her appearance, drama classes helped her gain confidence. After studying at RADA, she rose to fame through the Netflix series Sex Education<\/span><\/span> and later The White Lotus<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Although Hollywood and social media continued focusing on her teeth, Aimee refused to change herself to fit beauty standards.
