Ligertwood fronted Santana across multiple eras from 1979 to 1994, serving as lead vocalist in several lineups during the band\u2019s major commercial success. He is best known for songs like \u201cWinning,\u201d \u201cHold On,\u201d and \u201cAll I Ever Wanted,\u201d which helped shape Santana\u2019s rock, pop, and Latin sound.<\/p>\n

His wife, Shawn Brogan, said they had been together for 36 years and married for 25, adding that he passed peacefully in his sleep after performing his final show just two weeks earlier. She described him as deeply loved and devoted to music.<\/p>\n
