He was 54.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"612\">Katt began acting in the 1980s and is credited with 75 roles across film and television. He gained widespread recognition for playing Clint Bruno in <em data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"478\">Dazed and Confused<\/em> (1993) and Harry Senate in <em data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"521\">Boston Public<\/em>.
