Tired of his attitude, she wrote a \u201croommate contract\u201d and posted it on Facebook, where it went viral.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you think you\u2019re independent, then you can help pay for rent, utilities, and groceries,\u201d she wrote, adding that he’d also need to cook and clean.<\/p>\n
Aaron, angry at first, eventually came around, asking how he could earn his privileges back. Heidi explained it was never about money but teaching the value of responsibility. He quickly realized he couldn\u2019t afford adult life.<\/p>\n
Online, many praised her approach. One user said, \u201cNothing in the note is cruel\u2014it\u2019s a life lesson.\u201d Some accused her of public shaming, but Heidi defended her actions, saying, \u201cTeens are testing boundaries.
