In the 1980s, Kirk Cameron<\/strong> was one of Hollywood’s biggest teen stars, winning millions of fans with his role as Mike Seaver on Growing Pains<\/em>. But at the height of his fame, he made a decision that shocked everyone\u2014he walked away from Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Cameron never planned to become an actor. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a surgeon, but his mother introduced him to acting, leading to commercials and eventually his breakout role on Growing Pains<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Despite his success, Cameron later admitted he struggled with life in Hollywood. As a teenager, a visit to church sparked a life-changing journey of faith that completely changed his priorities.<\/p>\n
