Dane, once a high school water polo player, discovered his passion for acting through a school play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"785\">Beyond <em data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"597\">Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em>, Dane has starred in films like <em data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"643\">Marley &amp; Me<\/em>, <em data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"662\">Valentine\u2019s Day<\/em>, and <em data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"679\">Burlesque<\/em>. Most patients live 2\u20134 years after diagnosis, though some, like Stephen Hawking, have lived much longer.
