In a fiery new statement, the former president takes direct aim at Volodymyr Zelensky, delivering one of his most explosive warnings yet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Accusing Zelensky<\/h2>\n

During his campaign,\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0often claimed he could bring the war between Russia and Ukraine to an end \u201cwithin 24 hours.\u201d But so far, that promise hasn\u2019t exactly panned out \u2014 and it\u2019s becoming increasingly clear that the U.S. president is growing more and more frustrated by the situation.<\/p>\n

In a fiery tirade that\u2019s already lighting up social media, President Donald Trump has issued his sharpest warning yet to Ukrainian President\u00a0Volodymyr Zelensky<\/a>, accusing him of dragging out the war with Russia and risking total national collapse.<\/p>\n

The commander-in-chief took to Truth Social late last night with an ultimatum that left no room for interpretation: negotiate now \u2014 or lose everything.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe can have Peace or, he can fight for another three years before losing the whole Country,\u201d Trump\u00a0wrote<\/a>. \u201cThe statement made by Zelenskyy today will do nothing but prolong the \u2018killing field,\u2019 and nobody wants that!\u201d<\/p>\n

What sparked the fury<\/h2>\n

Trump\u2019s fury was sparked by Zelensky\u2019s\u00a0declaration<\/a>\u00a0to The Wall Street Journal that Ukraine \u201cwill not legally recognize the occupation of Crimea.\u201d The U.S. president slammed the statement as \u201cvery harmful to the Peace Negotiations with Russia,\u201d insisting Crimea was lost \u201cyears ago under the auspices of President Barack Hussein Obama\u201d and was no longer up for debate.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody is asking Zelenskyy to recognize Crimea as Russian Territory but, if he wants Crimea, why didn\u2019t they fight for it eleven years ago when it was handed over to Russia without a shot being fired?\u201d Trump fumed.<\/p>\n

He went on to accuse Zelensky of making \u201cinflammatory statements\u201d and \u201cboasting\u201d about a situation that, in Trump\u2019s words, is \u201cdire.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his most blunt rebuke yet, Trump doubled down, suggesting Zelensky has no leverage left:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very close to a Deal, but the man with \u2018no cards to play\u2019 should now, finally, GET IT DONE.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump also took aim at the human cost of the conflict:<\/p>\n

\u201cI have nothing to do with Russia, but have much to do with wanting to save, on average, five thousand Russian and Ukrainian soldiers a week, who are dying for no reason whatsoever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rubio\u2019s threat<\/h2>\n

Just hours earlier, Trump\u2019s Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters in Paris that the U.S. may \u201cwalk away\u201d from the stalled talks.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are now reaching a point where we need to decide whether this is even possible or not,\u201d Rubio\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0bluntly. \u201cIf it\u2019s not, then I think we\u2019re just going to move on. It\u2019s not our war.\u201d<\/p>\n

The remarks come as U.S. officials reportedly withdrew from a planned high-stakes meeting in London, after Ukraine refused to concede to American demands \u2014 chief among them, handing over territory to Russia. Instead, Trump\u2019s peace envoy Steve Witkoff was spotted en route to Moscow to meet directly with Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

The shift in tone has rattled U.S. allies. UK officials were reportedly blindsided by the White House\u2019s tactics, with one unnamed British minister telling Daily Mail, \u201cThe US are f***ing up everything \u2013 on Ukraine, on tariffs, on everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace didn\u2019t hold back either:<\/p>\n
