Allison Rahmani, a beloved 40-year-old teacher and mother of four, died Friday, August 21, after a terrifying crash at her family\u2019s home in Hewlett, New York.<\/p>\n
Rahmani was driving a 2023 GMC SUV when she suddenly lost control. The vehicle struck a tree, hit an unoccupied parked car, and continued into the backyard before plunging into the family\u2019s swimming pool.<\/p>\n
She was rescued from the SUV and taken to a local hospital, but sadly could not be saved. Reports say she was able to call 911 after the crash and did not die from drowning.<\/p>\n
Investigators now believe Rahmani may have suffered a medical emergency that caused her to lose control of the vehicle. The exact condition has not been released, and police do not suspect foul play.<\/p>\n
Rahmani was a teacher and math coordinator at the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway. She was remembered as a devoted educator, wife and mother.<\/p>\n
Her family had been preparing for a trip to Paris just days later. Instead, they gathered for her funeral.<\/p>\n
