Her breakthrough came with <em>Northern Exposure<\/em>, earning her a Primetime Emmy in 1992.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">She later appeared in <em>Seinfeld<\/em>, <em>ER<\/em>, <em>Frasier<\/em>, <em>Glee<\/em>, <em>Desperate Housewives<\/em>, <em>Young Sheldon<\/em>, <em>Dead to Me<\/em>, and <em>Big Sky<\/em>. She played Alma Hodge on <em>Desperate Housewives<\/em> and Sheldon\u2019s teacher Victoria MacElroy on <em>Young Sheldon<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her husband, Joseph Kell, and their daughter, Alice.
