Metal Guitarist Died Suddenly at 48 During a Wrestling Match \ud83d\udc94<\/h3>\n

Andrew \u201cAndy\u201d Williams, the longtime guitarist of Every Time I Die<\/em> and professional wrestler known as The Butcher<\/strong>, has died at 48.<\/p>\n

Williams suffered a medical emergency during an independent wrestling event in Pennsylvania on September 5. He collapsed near the end of a match and received CPR before being rushed to a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n

His death was later confirmed by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office. His official cause of death has not yet been released.<\/p>\n

Williams was known to two very different worlds.<\/p>\n

He helped shape Every Time I Die<\/em> as a founding member and rhythm guitarist, appearing on all nine of the band\u2019s studio albums.<\/p>\n

Later, he reinvented himself as professional wrestler The Butcher<\/strong>, teaming with The Blade and performing for All Elite Wrestling.<\/p>\n

Even after Every Time I Die<\/em> broke up, Williams continued making music with his band Atomic Rule.<\/p>\n

Just hours before his collapse, he had appeared in a video discussing the band\u2019s new music and future plans.<\/p>\n

Tributes quickly poured in from both the wrestling and music communities.<\/p>\n

Fans remembered Williams not only for his intimidating presence, but for his humor, kindness and support for others.<\/p>\n

A guitarist. A wrestler. A man who built two remarkable careers\u2014and left a lasting mark on both worlds. \u2764\ufe0f<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
