Terri Irwin and her son Robert shared an emotional update on Bindi Irwin\u2019s ongoing battle with endometriosis while attending the third annual Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
Bindi, 27, was noticeably absent from the event, raising concern among fans. Her mother explained that Bindi is improving but is currently limiting travel because it can be exhausting.<\/p>\n
\u201cBindi is doing so much better now,\u201d Terri told E! News. \u201cThings like a lot of travel are a bit challenging for her at the moment, so she\u2019ll be here next year.\u201d<\/p>\n
Terri added that Bindi was staying closer to home and helping with the family\u2019s conservation work at Australia Zoo.<\/p>\n
\u201cIronically, it\u2019s actually less exhausting for her to be at home feeding crocodiles,\u201d Terri said.<\/p>\n
Robert reassured fans that his sister was \u201cwith us in spirit,\u201d adding that she was doing an amazing job helping manage the family\u2019s conservation efforts.<\/p>\n
Bindi\u2019s health update comes months after she revealed that doctors had removed more than 50 endometriosis lesions<\/strong> from her body over the past three years. She also underwent surgery to remove a chocolate cyst, an appendectomy, and a hernia repair.<\/p>\n Bindi previously shared that she had suffered years of severe, unexplained pain before finally receiving a diagnosis. Doctors had once dismissed her symptoms as \u201cpart of being a woman.\u201d<\/p>\n After treatment, she said her quality of life improved dramatically, allowing her to enjoy everyday moments with her daughter, Grace, without constant pain and nausea.<\/p>\n Bindi may not have been at the gala this year, but her family made it clear that she remains close in heart\u2014and is doing better.<\/strong><\/p>\n
