My mother disappeared when I was young, so my grandmother became my entire world.<\/p>\n

She worked two jobs just to keep us going.<\/p>\n

When my wealthy aunt offered me a better life at 17, I left Grandma behind.<\/p>\n

Months later, I returned for my birth certificate and found her asleep on the couch after working two shifts.<\/p>\n
