A love of cars that nearly killed him twice\u2014once in a 2022 garage fire and again in a motorcycle accident just months later\u2014remains central to his legacy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"649\">After stepping down from <em data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"506\">The Tonight Show<\/em>, Leno created <em data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"540\">Jay Leno\u2019s Garage<\/em> (2015\u20132022), a web series with over 3.7 million YouTube followers, where he shared his passion for vehicles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"651\" data-end=\"960\">Despite severe injuries and aging, Leno remains devoted to his wife Mavis, whom he married in 1980. Mavis, 77, was recently diagnosed with dementia, prompting a judge to grant Leno conservatorship of her estate in 2024. Her condition has worsened, and Leno has been managing her care with love and dedication.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1334\">Now, Leno is finalizing his estate to secure Mavis\u2019 future. If he dies first, assets including his $52 million car collection will go into a marital trust supporting her.
