In January, Save Elephant Foundation in Thailand rescued 87-year-old Somboon and brought her to Elephant Nature Park. She arrived in poor health \u2014 emaciated, dehydrated, and exhausted \u2014 but finally free.<\/p>\n
Unlike most rescues who need time to adjust, Somboon immediately lay down to rest, too tired to wait. After a life on her feet, her first deep sleep was a powerful sign of trust and relief.<\/p>\n
