Moments later, her daughter Kyanni was born with a deep facial laceration, shocking both parents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"356\" data-end=\"616\">Instead of holding her newborn, Reazjhana had to hand her over to a plastic surgeon. Kyanni required 13 stitches for the cut, which doctors said was caused by her position close to the placenta wall during the procedure\u2014a known but rare C-section complication.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"858\">\u201cI tried to be understanding, but I still have questions,\u201d Reazjhana said. Denver Health acknowledged the incident, stating patient safety is their top priority.
