Jeff Bridges Shares Health Update: ‘I’m Feeling Good’<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jeff Bridges, 75, says he’s doing well nearly five years after being diagnosed with lymphoma. In a recent People<\/em> interview, the Big Lebowski<\/em> star said his health is “very good,” though he still faces some lingering effects from both cancer treatment and a severe case of COVID-19.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome things, it\u2019s hard to tell if it\u2019s the cancer, the COVID, or just old age,\u201d he said, noting memory issues and a loss of smell. \u201cMy wife jokes, \u2018I haven\u2019t showered in days. You can\u2019t smell?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Bridges first revealed his cancer diagnosis in October 2020, sharing that while it was serious, he had a great medical team and a positive prognosis. By September 2021, he announced that his tumor had shrunk to the size of a marble.<\/p>\n

During treatment, he contracted COVID, which he said was more brutal than cancer. \u201cIt kicked my ass,\u201d he wrote on his website, but added that the experience brought him a deeper appreciation for life.<\/p>\n

Now in remission, Bridges recently finished filming The Old Man<\/em> and is set to return in Tron: Ares<\/em> later this year.
