President Donald Trump is known for his combative press conferences\u2014but on May 28, it was a reporter who threw the first punch.<\/p>\n

Now in his second term, Trump has rolled out aggressive executive orders and global tariffs that shook the stock market, affecting major companies like Walmart and Apple. Although markets dipped, they soon recovered, with traders crediting what they dubbed \u201cT.A.C.O.\u201d\u2014\u201cTrump Always Chickens Out.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The nickname, coined by Financial Times journalist Robert Armstrong, mocks Trump\u2019s habit of making bold tariff threats only to back down. CNBC\u2019s Megan Casella brought it up at a White House press conference, asking Trump for his response.<\/p>\n

Trump didn\u2019t take it well.<\/p>\n

Initially confused, he bristled when Casella clarified the phrase. \u201cThat\u2019s a nasty question,\u201d he snapped, defending his negotiation tactics and warning, \u201cDon\u2019t ever say what you said.\u201d<\/p>\n

The clash echoed another exchange on May 20, when Trump told a NOTUS journalist questioning his political influence to \u201cget yourself a real job.\u201d<\/p>\n
