Whitney Purvis, known from MTV\u2019s 16 and Pregnant<\/em>, is mourning the tragic loss of her 16-year-old son, Weston Gosa Jr.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 33-year-old shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, writing, \u201cMy beautiful son, Weston, has passed away. He was only 16. Life is so cruel and unfair… I don\u2019t know what to do with myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cHe was so perfect. This is my worst nightmare come true… I would do anything just to hold him again.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a tribute, Whitney added, \u201cI love you so much, Weston Owen Gosa. You are my heart. I was so proud of the young man you were becoming. Rest in peace, my angel. April 2, 2009 \u2013 June 2, 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n

Weston\u2019s cause of death hasn\u2019t been confirmed, but his stepmother said he had health issues, including diabetes, and was found unresponsive on the morning of June 2. CPR was attempted, but he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.<\/p>\n

Weston appeared on 16 and Pregnant<\/em> in 2009 as Whitney\u2019s infant son. She later had another child, River, with Weston Sr., though the couple eventually split. In 2024, Whitney faced legal troubles, including the loss of custody.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease keep our family in your prayers,\u201d the family asked. \u201cLosing a child is the most painful thing I\u2019ve ever experienced.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
