Weddings often bring tears of joy, and four-year-old Gage learned that firsthand when his dad, US Marine Sgt. Joshua Newville, married Senior Airman Emily Leehan in Ripley, New York.<\/p>\n

Gage was holding it together until Leehan began reading wedding vows written just for him. As she said, \u201cI want you to be safe, try your hardest, and be a good person,\u201d Gage broke down in tears and hugged her tightly.<\/p>\n

Leehan continued through tears: \u201cYou are smart, kind, and have helped shape who I am. I may not have given you life, but life gave me you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The heartfelt moment brought tears to everyone\u2014including the bride and groom\u2014and Gage ended up stealing the show. Though the newlyweds returned to active duty at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst instead of a honeymoon, their unforgettable ceremony left a lasting impression.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
