A British couple behind a popular London-based spiritual wellness brand shared a video from the airport moments before boarding the doomed Air India flight that crashed shortly after takeoff on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Jamie Ray Greenlaw-Meek and Fiongal Greenlaw-Meek, co-founders of The Wellness Foundry, were among 53 British nationals on board the flight, which carried 242 passengers. In an Instagram video, Fiongal says, \u201cWe are at the airport, just boarding. Goodbye India,\u201d while Jamie jokes about the 10-hour journey ahead.<\/p>\n
The couple had just completed a 10-day wellness retreat, calling their time in India \u201cmagical.\u201d Jamie reflected on their final night, praising their hotel stay and a \u201cdelicious Thali\u201d dinner.<\/p>\n
Jamie\u2019s brother, Nick Meek, said the couple was due home that evening. \u201cWe were expecting him to land at 6:30pm,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s all very raw.\u201d<\/p>\n
Footage of the crash, showing the plane erupting into flames over a residential area, has circulated widely. Only one survivor is known.<\/p>\n
Based in Vauxhall, The Wellness Foundry offers tarot, aura readings, and life coaching. Fiongal founded it in 2018 after a spiritual awakening; Jamie joined in 2023. The business has worked with clients like Netflix, Google, and Dior.
