She alleges she was made to perform in an unscripted, violent rape scene without proper notice, consent, or an intimacy coordinator, violating SAG-AFTRA guidelines.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"532\" data-end=\"835\">According to the lawsuit, Costner improvised the scene on May 2, 2023, after Hunt refused to participate. LaBella claims she was misled about the scene, not informed of its nature, and exposed to a non-closed set. She says she felt \u201cshock, embarrassment and humiliation,\u201d and began therapy in June 2023.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"837\" data-end=\"1057\">Costner denies the allegations. His attorney says LaBella consented, citing a \u201cthumbs up\u201d gesture and a positive text message she sent after filming. The defense also claims she was in \u201cgood spirits\u201d following the shoot.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1210\">LaBella insists she felt pressure to stay professional during production. She is seeking damages for a hostile work environment and breach of contract.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1394\">Costner, who invested $38M into the film, saw <em data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1278\">Horizon: Chapter 1<\/em> flop at the box office in 2024.
