Tensions in the Middle East have erupted<\/strong> after Iran launched missile strikes on U.S. military targets, days after former President Donald Trump ordered major bombings of Iranian nuclear sites.<\/p>\n

According to Reuters<\/strong>, Iran fired six missiles at the Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar\u2014home to about 10,000 U.S. troops\u2014and targeted a U.S. base in Iraq. Iran\u2019s \u201cOperation Annunciation of Victory\u201d also aimed at Israeli positions.<\/p>\n

Iranian state media hailed the attack as a \u201cmighty and successful response\u201d to U.S. aggression, claiming the number of missiles matched the bombs used in the U.S. airstrikes. Despite Iranian claims of damage, Qatar reported no casualties, thanks to its air defenses. Qatar and the UAE closed their airspace, and Bahrain urged citizens to shelter.<\/p>\n

The crisis was triggered by Trump\u2019s June 21 strike<\/strong>, which reportedly \u201cobliterated\u201d key Iranian nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. Trump called it a mission to dismantle Iran\u2019s nuclear threat. Iran\u2019s President Pezeshkian responded on X, saying Iran \u201cdid not start the war\u201d but would respond forcefully.<\/p>\n

As the conflict enters its 11th day<\/strong>, Israel has joined in, striking targets inside Tehran, with promises of more attacks. Trump, still directing the response from the West Wing, posted provocatively on Truth Social, hinting at regime change in Iran.<\/p>\n

With both sides escalating, fears of a broader war are rising rapidly.<\/p>\n
