When my son Stuart asked to throw his birthday party at my house, I said yes without hesitation. I hoped it meant we were reconnecting. But the next morning, I returned home to find it wrecked\u2014doors broken, windows shattered, heirlooms destroyed, and a casual note: “Just a wild party to say goodbye to our youth.”<\/em><\/p>\n
