About 30 minutes later, gunfire erupted from the woods. A firefighter radioed for help, saying, \u201cEverybody\u2019s shot up here,\u201d and warned of an active shooter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"579\" data-end=\"723\">Authorities believe the fire was intentionally set to lure first responders. \u201cIt\u2019s clear this fire was set to draw us in,\u201d said one firefighter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"725\" data-end=\"923\">The Kootenai County Sheriff confirmed the deaths and said the suspect, later found dead with a firearm nearby, is believed to have acted alone.
