Sadly, some with disfigurements or disabilities are often overlooked \u2014 like Serenity, a husky with a massive, untreatable tumor that deformed her face.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"295\" data-end=\"509\">Found as a stray, Serenity had no one to care for her until Patti Dawson of Dallas Dog Rescue stepped in. Despite the severe tumor, Serenity showed affection and spirit, convincing Patti she was still full of life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"702\">Veterinarians confirmed the tumor was inoperable, but it doesn\u2019t stop Serenity from seeing, breathing, or enjoying life. Patti and her team were determined to show the world her inner beauty.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"976\">Photographer Renee Dowhaniuk captured joyful portraits of Serenity that went viral, inspiring hundreds to reach out with love and support.
