When she didn\u2019t return, she was reported missing on June 29. Surveillance footage later showed her leaving a home with Mendoza, who returned alone with her car. Audio from the video captured Mendoza confronting her about texting her ex.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"814\">Police confirmed on July 3 that the remains found belonged to DiNapoli. Her family and the Morgan Hill community are grieving the loss.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"1080\">Friends say DiNapoli had previously expressed fear of Mendoza, calling him &#8220;obsessed&#8221; and dangerous. Mendoza has refused to cooperate with police and is considered a person of interest.
