She was reported missing on June 29 after failing to respond. Surveillance footage later showed her leaving a house with Mendoza that day. Her car was found at that location, but she never returned. Mendoza returned alone.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"885\">Police confirmed the body discovered near the park\u2014an area Mendoza frequented with DiNapoli\u2014was hers on July 3. The condition of the remains delayed identification.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"887\" data-end=\"1109\">Mendoza, now a person of interest, has refused to cooperate. Police say he may be driving a white Toyota Camry with California plates CW87W00 or 9PTM351.
